The body is returned to the earth in a natural state, fulfilling our ecosystems' circular rhythm.

It is the oldest form of human disposition practised for thousands of years - long before there was ever a funeral industry.

Here's how:

The body is not embalmed. Decomposition is nature's recycling
Bathing & dressing the body or wrapping in a cotton shroud.
Use of Green Friendly caskets or a simple carrier tray.
Home funeral options are available.
The grave does not need to be dug as deep (outlined in Manitoba Public Health regulations).
The body may be lowered into the grave with ropes.
